    Everton agree release clause for Carlos Sanchez

    Everton have agreed the €2m to sign Ecuador international Carlos Sanchez from Elche in Spain according to Spanish newspaper Copeelche.

    One of the best players in the Ecuador team at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil “La Roca” as he is known plays in midfield and likes a challenge.

    In typical blues traditions the 28 year olds midfielders transfer may not be completely straight forward as the article mentions that he is co-owned which is not allowed in the Premier League.

    Sanchez played 34 times for Elche last season and got 10 yellow cards, he has 44 caps for his country .

When I read this I thought it was a sign of exciting things to come.Then right at the bottom of the article the bit about his “ownership” status ensured that it was in fact just agent talk and agent talk that was pretty poorly informed. After Tevez and Mascerano I thought this practice had been outlawed internationally and not just by England.How is he allowed to play in Europe?
