Duffus joins Bury

Everton Under-21 striker Courtney Duffus has joined Bury on loan.

The powerful frontman marked his 19th birthday with a move to the League Two club, where he is is set to remain until early January.

Duffus joined Everton in 2012 and has progressed from the Under-18 side to David Unsworth’s Under-21 set-up.  His brother Tyrone is also in the clubs academy.

Bury, managed by David Flitcroft, are away at Southend on Saturday as they look to build on an impressive start to their league campaign which sees them fourth in the table.
