David Marshall and Alex McCarthy linked with Everton move

Everton have drawn up a list of goalkeeping replacements according to the Daily Mail which includes Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall and QPR goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.

Norwich’s John Ruddy, Ali Al Habsi of Wigan, Sergio Romero of Sampdoria and Feyenoord’s Erwin Mulder have also been mentioned, although the Al Habsi link was recently turned down in the Liverpool Echo.

Joel Robles put in his best Everton performance yet in an Everton shirt in last nights 1-1 draw with West Ham United in the FA Cup, but his recent outtings have drawn fear from Evertonians as they don’t believe he is good enough to keep the nets previously managed by Neville Southall and Nigel Martyn.

Tim Howard is expected to return to the MLS at the end of the season and is currently sidelined for over 1 month with a calf strain.
