Coleman: We’re playing very well at the minute and long may that continue
Seamus Coleman is well aware of the physical threat that Wednesdays opponents Crystal Palace face when they visit Goodison Park, but fully believes that his team can take all three points.
His Everton side are looking to win 8 games on the trot as they welcome a team revitalised under Tony Pulis and although Coleman is wary, he is looking forward to it.
He told evertontv: “It’s where we want to be [in the table] and we’re taking it one game at a time.
“We know Palace are on a good run of form, so it’s going to be a difficult game on Wednesday. But they’re coming to our home, so we’re looking forward to it.
“At this stage of the season, we just wanted to be playing for something, and we certainly are.
“We’re playing very well at the minute and long may that continue.”
Coleman is also enjoying playing with on-loan Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu and says that the Barca prodigy is a match changer when he gets one-on-one with opposition defenders.
He added: “He (Deulofeu) is one of those players where you’ve just got to give him the ball and let him face his marker one-v-one and support him as much as you can.
“Once he gets in those positions, he’s dangerous for the opposing full-back.”
