Cash plus defender offer set to be launched?
Everton are set to have their resolve tested as Manchester United are set to launch a cash plus player offer for Everton right-back Seamus Coleman according to the Daily Star.
Even though Everton have publically stated that Coleman will not be leaving Goodison Park, the star is saying that United will test the clubs resolve with a cash bid plus defender Jonny Evans in exchange.
Evans just has one year left on his Man United contract but a new offer hasn’t been forthcoming and he looks destined to leave the red devils.
Coleman has been the subject of a bid from United for a couple of years, but Everton are determined to keep hold of one of their star players.

If it wasn’t so dangerous it would be hilarious.
Almost ANY player used in a swap for Coleman will not be accepted by the fans – so forget put the silly notion to bed.
We want to keep Coleman
We MUST keep Coleman.
True dat brother. True dat
‘Coleman has been the subject of a bid from United for a couple of years,’ Really? How much did they bid and when?
