Calvert-Lewin subject of deadline day bid by Premier League clubs

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin was subject to a transfer deadline day loan enquiry from both West Ham United and Huddersfield Town according to Daily Mail reporter Dominic King.

The 20 year old former Sheffield United striker has lead the line for Everton for much of the current campaign but has seen his place in the side come under threat from new signing Cenk Tosun and team mate Oumar Niasse.

Both Premier League clubs advances were immediately rejected out of hand and Calvert-Lewin was one of 5 Everton players who were subject to enquiries.

Everton also loaned out Ademola Lookman and Muhamed Besic on the final day to RB Leizig and Middlesbrough respectively.
