    Bayern Munich defender Dante pursued by Everton

    Everton are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Dante according to German newspaper Bild.

    The 31 year old Brazilian defender is also on the radar of Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach according to the report.

    Bayern have put a €9m price tag on the defender but would be unlikely to get that for the player who is nearing his 32nd birthday.  If they could raise the €9m is would have doubled the fee they paid to take him to Munich.

    Everton are looking to replace Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz.
