    Roberto Martinez holds off Newcastle to bring Wigan striker Arouna Kone to Everton

    AROUNA KONE has become Roberto Martinez’s first signing for Everton according to the Daily Express

    Arouna Kone follows Roberto Martinez from Wigan for £5million
    The striker follows Martinez from Wigan in for £5million after agreeing a three-year contract.

    Despite late interest from Newcastle, Kone opted to link up with the Spaniard at Everton.

    Paraguay defender Antolin Alcaraz is also set to complete his free transfer move after his Wigan deal expired.
