Alan Myres leaves Everton

It has today been announced by Everton Football Club that Director of Communications Alan Myres has left the club. It is stated that this is down to ‘personal reasons’ from Alan himself.

Evertonians have been quick to flood twitter with well wishing tweets, after Alan improved the communication with the fans massively in his short time at the club. He worked industriously throughout the club, always with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Alan, humble  as ever, took to twitter to thank manager Roberto Martinez, the players and staff. He even added ‘I’m an Evertonian until I’m in a box’.

Presumably Everton will be looking for a new Director of Communications, and they will do well to find someone like Myres after getting the two previously terribly wrong.
