5 Bargain players for Everton to consider before the transfer deadline

    Oscar Cardozo

Cardozo is the player that Everton seemed to have been linked with forever.  The big Paraguayan is a goalscorer but has always been out of the price range of the club, but things seemed to have changed.  Cardozo is now 30 and wants to leave Benfica having scored 111 goals in 147 games.  Cardozo isn’t on massive wages and Cardozo has only started 3 games this season in the league scoring 3 times.

    Bibras Natkho

Natkho is currently unemployed after leaving Rubin Kazan, but rumours are he is close to joining PAOK.   From a deep lying defensive midfield position he scored 21 goals in 104 appearances and is a decent play maker.  On a free transfer Natkho could be a decent signing.

    Dimitar Berbatov

Now quite a lot of Everton fans would be unhappy with Berbatov, because we like hard working players and Berbatov is often seen as lazy, BUT Everton fans have also been starved of out and out goalscorers who can link play too and that is exactly what Berba is.  Available for around £1.5m, he would bring goals and skill and would be an interesting addition.

    Fernando

Apparently close to signing for Everton in the summer, the Brazilian midfielder is out of contract in July and is on the watch list of Manchester United and AC Milan reports say.  Porto are looking to agree a new signing and have recently lost Lucho and are close to losing Defour too, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the lad sign a new contract, but for minimal outlay this would be a decent defensive midfielder.

    Alexander Milosevic

The talented 21 year old Swedish defender is out of contract at AIK Stockholm in the summer and is on reported to be on the list of Arsenal, Fulham and Liverpool.  Milosevic wants to further his career and the Premier League seems to be top of his choice.  A cut price deal would be available for the centre-back believed to be under £2m.

    1. Berbatov I’d chance, we have a hard working midfield and create lots of chance just need someone that could be a target and finisher….

I don’t know the defenders you mention but “boy” could we do with someone….was talk of Curtis Davis interest….but nothing came of it….

      • I kind of agree with Berba. Long have we had workhorses upfront, but we simply need a goalscorer who can bring others in to play. He fits that category.

Defense is fine, unless you have players that are 75% fit like last night!
