Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka have both been named in the England squad for next week’s friendly against Scotland.
The Everton duo retain their places in Roy Hodgson’s party as the Three Lions prepare for a crucial season ahead of World Cup 2014, with qualification not yet assured.
There is no place for Leon Osman in the 25-man squad.
The fixture will take place at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 14 August (8pm kick-off) and will be shown live on ITV1.
Meanwhile, John Stones could be in line to make his debut for England Under-21s after earning his first call-up for the Young Lions’ own game against the Scots.
The 19-year-old defender is joined in the squad by midfielder Ross Barkley, who will be hoping to add to his four caps at the level when the game takes place at Bramall Lane on Tuesday (kick off 7.30pm, live on BTsport1).
