Everton linked with Lindelhof swoop

Everton manager Marco Silva wants to make a move for Manchester United defender Victor Lindelhof according to the Sunday Mirror.

The 23 year old Swedish international has had a tough start in England since his £31.5m move from Benfica last summer, but Silva is a fan of the centre-back and could be set to test United resolve.

Manchester United have 6 centre-backs at the club and may want to offload the Swede, but a price tag of £35m is being touted in the report.

There is no suggestion that Manchester United are looking to get rid of the defender at this stage.

Would Lindelhof be a good signing for Everton?

  1. How do you keep disgruntled fans distracted when you ain’t going to spend in the transfer market? You identify unattainable players and then drip feed stories into the media knowing that the players clubs will squash any attempts immediately.

Any Toffee who falls for this garabge deserves such cynical manipulation……
