    Everton bid for Norwegian midfielder

    Everton have seen a £1.8m bid rejected for 18 year old Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge according to VG Sporten in Norway.

    The midfielder currently plays for Valerenga but his agent has confirmed that the bid was turned down.

    “I can confirm that there has been considerable interest around Berge in this transfer window, and it has come a concrete bid from Everton. Beyond that I have no comment” says Berges agent Mike Kjølø.

    Berge has been one of the stand out players for the title winning team recently.
