Barca want to sell Everton a player for a Song
Barcelona want to sell experienced defensive midfielder Alex Song to one of a number of Premier League clubs including Everton according to the Daily Star and Spanish newspaper Marca.
The 26 year old Cameroon international is out of favour with new Barca boss Luis Enrique and the Catalans are looking to cash in on the former Arsenal player.
Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa and Manchester United are all interested in bringing the player to the Premier League and Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan are also contemplating a move.
Whether Everton actually have room in that position is another story with Gareth Barry, James McCarthy, Muhamed Besic and Darron Gibson all competing for 2 defensive midfield positions.
No bids have so far been entered, but the Daily Star says that Song is keen for a move to the Premier League.
Does this story sound like Tosh or do you think Song would be a good signing? Comment below or have your say on our dedicated Everton Forum at www.theevertonforum.com/forum

Another rubbish bit of journalism from the Express group. Remember these lot started almost every anti Everton rumour in the last couple of years, including trying to sell our players to “bigger clubs” They should stick to peddling porn and owning third rate London teams.
Not for me thanks.jags
