Kieron Dowell out to impress the new Everton manager

Everton youngster Kieron Dowell has echoed Tom Davies comments and says that he needs to get back to fitness fast and impress the new manager Ronald Koeman.

Dowell had a number of first team run outs towards the end of last season but wants to take advantage of pre-season and see how he gets on.

“Now it’s about getting back to fitness and being ready to impress the new manager,” said Dowell.

“I’ve chilled out, firstly. I had a break with my mates up in Glasgow to watch Coldplay, I went to Greece with my family and then Italy with Tom Davies andHarry Charsley.

“You need to have a good pre-season, impress the new staff and players around you then see where it takes you.”
