    Chris Long leaves Everton? Leeds, Blackburn & Burnley are suitors

    Yesterday we were informed that Chris Long had walked away from Everton and that Burnley were interested in taking him.

    We were told that Long was out of contract and had been offered a new two year contract, but a number of teams including Burnley, Leeds United and Blackburn had all offered better terms.

    Now the Daily Mail is reporting that Long is on the verge of joining Burnley or Blackburn.  It is our understanding that Long has already left the club in the search of first team football, but could stay if better terms are implemented.

    We were told that the club were looking for around £3m in compensation if he signs with a new team via tribunal.

      He has scored how many Premier League goals?

      Danny Ings is probably going to go for about £5 million at tribunal so for a lad who has scored five goals in his entire career and none of them at Prem level its a bit much ain’t it?

      Be lucky to get £250k with add ons IMO

      Anyway getting ahead of ourselves as he may still re-sign for Everton.

    3. Everton should offer better terms & keep Chris Long! Sell Kone instead for 3m who isn’t good enough! We still need a quality striker to take pressure of Rom!
