Everton to move for Brescia midfielder

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is set to step in and sign Brescia midfielder Ahmad Benali if the midfielder becomes a Free agent on Thursday according to the Daily Mirror.

The former Manchester City star hasn’t been paid by the Italian club for 2 weeks and will become a free agent tomorrow if the club don’t pay him.

The Libya international was born in Manchester and represented England at youth levels before leaving the club to try and further his career.

The Italian outfit have not paid their players for a fortnight. If they miss another salary payment then under league rules they could be would up by the Italian FA and their players become free agents, allowed to move on for nothing.

Celtic, Crystal Palace and Leicester are also keeping tabs on the 22 year old who has put in a string of good performances for the Italians.
