Distin:  Besic is a great prospect for Everton Football Club

Veteran Everton defender Sylvain Distin has been full of praise for recent signing Muhamed Besic as he has started to impose himself on games.

The Bosnian has been used sparingly, but following the recent injury to James McCarthy the midfielder has been used more often and has started to impress with some skilful play on the pitch matched with some aggression.

“He is doing great,” the Frenchman said. “He brings a lot of energy; with the amount of games we have it’s always good to have a fresh player coming in.

“He is motivated, he is young, he’s still learning but he’s a good prospect for the club.”
