Martinez – There were Evertonians EVERYWHERE – It was the perfect away performance

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has once again praised the Everton travelling support as thousands of Evertonians made the trip to Germany to watch his side beat a strong VFL Wolfsburg team.

The Catalan also said that his side put on the perfect away performance and says that massive credit must go to the back 5 including the impressive Luke Garbutt.

“It was a perfect away performance. Our counter-attacks were lethal and I thought we were outstanding.

“Big credit must also go to the back five because keeping a clean sheet here is a fantastic achievement.

“The celebrations were incredible – there were Evertonians everywhere! We’ve had phenomenal support again.”
