John Stones to sign new contract

John Stones will sign a new long term contract this week we have been told.

Stones who had a bit of a mare last night against Celta Vigo will put pen to paper on a new deal to end speculation of a transfer approach by Chelsea or Manchester City.

Stones has been a revelation for Everton since signing from Barnsley and the Silkstone lad nearly forced his way into the England World Cup squad before narrowly missing out.

The contract is expected to be announced in the coming days and has already been signed.
