Evertons Bumper Pay Day – We’re in the money

Evertons £85m bumper payday

Everton were the seventh highest earning side in the Premier League TV money earnings in 2013-14 with an impressive £85m in what was a record season for Premier League TV income.

Everton finished 5th in Roberto Martinez first season at the club and will again look to shrewdly enter the transfer market and improve on a decent squad.

Each club’s payment is made up of 50% of UK broadcasting revenue which is broken down equally between the 20 Premier League clubs.  25% of it depends on where the club finishes in the final league table, and the final 25% comes from fees each time a club’s matches are broadcast in the UK.

The total prize money paid out was £1.5bn
