Everton still interested in signing West Ham midfielder

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is still interested in signing West Ham midfielder Mohammed Diame according to the Daily Mail.

The leggy midfielder has been one of West Hams best players in what has been a season of discontent so far.  According to the article Diame is keen to play for a top 6 club and is open to a move this summer.

Diame would be seen as the ideal replacement for Gareth Barry, whos season long loan finishes at the end of this season and is likely to seek a bumper pay deal at another club and rumours of the players £3.5m transfer release clause are still doing the rounds, although West Ham fans believe the clause to be double this.
