Everton to bid £3m for Finland Captain Niklas Moisander

Everton are set to launch a raid on Ajax for Finland Captain Niklas Moisander according to Finnish website iltasanomat.

Ajax head coach Ronald De Boer had previously said that Moisander may leave in the summer, but the 28 year old may be set to join Roberto Martinez at Everton should Johnny Heitinga leave the club in the next 2 days.

Moisander is a talented player and would fit the hallmarks of Martinez teams who like to play the ball out from the back and Everton currently have a number of injury worries to key defensive areas including Sylvain Distin and Seamus Coleman, while others aren’t fully fit.

Moisander has played 44 times for the Amsterdam club scoring 5 times over 2 spells
