Everton are interested in buying Middlesbrough’s Australian International Rhys Williams according to the People

Williams, who can play in both defence and midfield, has impressed for the Championship side over the last couple of season. Williams is rated highly by both Boro boss Tony Mowbray and chairman Steve Gibson.

The 23 year-old Australian star has been linked with a host of Premier Leagues including Newcastle, Bolton, Liverpool and West Brom.

This season Williams has struggled with injuries and has made 22 appearances for Middlesbrough.
