Impressive World Cup showings lead to Everton interest

Everton are showing interest in signing Australia star Aaron Mooy following his showings in the Russia World Cup 2018 according to ESPN.

According to the report a number of teams are interested in a £20m move for the Huddersfield midfielder including West Ham United and Southampton.

The former Manchester City midfielder is also attracting interest from his old team and they may activate a buy-back clause that was inserted in his contract when they sold him last summer.

Mooy finished as one of the top tacklers in the Premier League last season and impressed in his debut season in the division helping Huddersfield to safety.
