Everton in talks with PSV Eindhoven Director of Football

Everton are in talks with PSV Eindhoven director of football Marcel Brands about joining the club to help add a global direction to their scouting and playing recruitment.

According to the Mirror, Everton are in talks with the 54 year old about joining Steve Walsh’s player recruitment team.

Brands has vast experience in finding talent and was instrumental in AZ Alkmaar unexpectedly winning the title under Louis Van Gaal when he was there.

According to the report, Brands is seen as a compliment to the team rather than replacing Steve Walsh as they look to fix their current transfer problems.
