Agent confirms Everton interest

The agent of Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan has confirmed that Everton are interested in taking the player from FC Augsburg.

Klavan played every minute for the club in the Bundesliga last season and his performances have drawn the attentions of the toffees

The Estonia international’s performances have led to interest from Everton and his agent, Maikel Stevens, said he is considering his options.

“They asked about him and it is normal that you think about such a request, but it is also fact that he is under contract at Augsburg for two more years,”

Everton are known to be in the market for a defender after Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz left the clubs following the expiration of their contracts.
