    Vitor Pereira has meetings in London, could he be the next Everton manager?

    According to Portuguese tabloid Maisfutebol,  Vitor Pereira has held talks with a ‘top half’ Premier League club in London yesterday and today, before flying back to his native land for a media open day.

    The Porto manager has been linked to Everton over the last few weeks, and London is coincidently where Toffees Chairman Bill Kenwright conducts business.

    It is also thought by Maisfutebol that Pereira may have changed the minds of the Porto directors after winning another league title, and now may have a contract extension offer on the table. The talks with the Porto directors are also going to discuss salary and his control over future players, which has been missing in his current two year reign.

    Pereira’s Porto side went the whole of last season undefeated, winning the title in the process. He has a 67% win rate, although isn’t a big fans favourite with poor showings in European competitions.
