    Moshiri delighted with “Modern” Marco Silva capture

    Everton major shareholder Farhad Moshiri is delighted to have landed his new manager Marco Silva and believes that the “modern” manager will prove a success at Goodison Park.

    Silva signed a three year contract with the toffees and Moshiri believes that the Portuguese manager work ethic and enthusiasm for joining the club will impress the clubs supporters.

    Moshiri said “I am really pleased to extend a warm Everton welcome to our new manager, Marco Silva. As Marcel has pointed out, Marco is a young, dynamic, energetic and very modern manager whose dedication to his job and demanding approach will help us, I believe, to move forward in a confident, purposeful way to where we want to be as a Club. His abilities are underpinned by a strong footballing philosophy, a fierce work ethic and his enthusiasm in embracing Everton, our values and our ambitions has hugely impressed me, as I hope it will each and every Evertonian.”

    1. Time will tell but I’m looking forward to the new season with Silva as manager & especially Brands as Director of Football, just need 4 or 5 new players and a trophy & we’re laughing!
