Martinez: Mirallas will get a chance to impress
Everton manager has admitted that disappointed Kevin Mirallas will get a chance to impress in the final quarter of the season after rumours of a bust up in the wake of the West Brom defeat.
Blues supporters took to social media to admit their surprise that Mirallas wasn’t used in the defeat and the Belgian appeared to throw his gloves at Martinez feet after warming up before Leon Osman was used before him.
“We’ve got a big squad and as you know we’ve been working hard to get that. You’re going to get players who are disappointed.
“Kevin is been very unfortunate because he had a really really good performance against Chelsea then picks up an injury against Swansea.
“Our attacking performers have been working really really well and Kevin has been working well, I have no problems with that, and I know he’ll be ready when the opportunity arises.”
