Match Thread The Cup Final

Mortgage Nonce/Football Dunce
Pep going with Jesus ahead of Aguero. Very strange decision.
Watford playing Gomes in goal - He’s nor played a minute in the prem. Sentiment should have no place in football.

If this was huge for City then they would have fielded their strongest fit eleven, in any strongest City XI you would have their iconic talisman Aguero leading the attack.

It just shows how much this game really means to them that they're starting him on the bench.

The FA Cup is little more than an afterthought to them now, it's only importance is that it completes a domestic treble.

CDPA Panelist (like Rich)
Disagree; aside from Aguero (and perhaps Kompany), it's probably their strongest available 11.
I don't get the impression that Guardiola treats any game as an afterthought.

Watford need a goal while they’re threatening City these chances are unlikely to keep coming

The amount of times Bernardo Silva wins the ball back in the opposition half is ridiculous.

You can trace that goal back to him.
