Match Thread Everton v Leicester City, Wednesday 1st July 2020, 6pm (Sky Sports)

Love Islander
Best 45 since the restart by a country mile (not difficult, but still).

Organisation is there to see under Carlo. Gordon having a great little game and the boys up front are causing problems.

Good times (cue 3-2 loss).

CDPA Panelist (like Rich)
Closed it out well in stoppage time but they had put us under a lot of pressure for 15 minutes up to that. Some nice play on the break and with a better final ball could have maybe had another. As others have said, Gordon has looked very lively and mobile too.

Think this drinks break needs to be swerved now. No point in it and it seems to give teams the chance to get themselves together and organised.

Mortgage Nonce/Football Dunce
Strange as we are 2 up and played some good stuff but Gomes and DCL have been dire and the defence has looked a bit shaky. Brilliant save by Pickford.
Iwobi is a better version of Niasse. Looks classy one minute and like he’s never played football the next!

Just seeing that penalty again and I’m amazed it took them so long to decide that, farcical really.

Also the leap on DCL just before it is tremendous.
