He is nearly 5 years older and had a very similar scoring record at Doms age. Dom only turned 24 a few weeks ago. He's just on a bad run of form.

Ings had something like 30 goals playing in the lower leagues until he was 23(?). DCL is on a completely different level to Ings at a similar age.

It's hard to know if we are genuinely moaning about one of our best players this season or are we just tired of talking about the other shite...

There's at least 9 other players to talk about before him.

His shot conversion ratio stands up with very best in the league, the figures don’t lie yet you’ll still get Evertonians saying he’s not clinical enough.

I predicted it in the summer and said it on here. All the talk was we needed a 15 goal a season forward coming in and I said when DCL gets 15 league goals this season people will be saying we need a 20 league goals a season player coming in and we’re starting to see the groundwork being for in for that sort of talk.

It’s crazy he just can’t win with some people there’s always a caveat or the goal posts get shifted.

Some blues need to accept that if he misses chances like he did last night people are going to bemoan that. It happens with every player in the world, no matter how good they are.

He's probably cost us 3 points in our last 2 home games with the chances he missed, so whilst it doesn't mean he's shite, should be on the bench or sold, people are within their rights to say he should've buried them chances. Like the man himself has come out and said. Does he think he's shite and is moving the goal posts too?

Or is it just an honest assessment of the events that took place?

Thing is, there's having a bad game (in the context of a great season) and there's suggesting he's shite, a modern day Andy Carrol and will never be as good as Danny Ings.

Not sure you will see anyone say he will never be as good as Danny ings but at this moment he’s not.
As for Andy Carroll -That’s just taking the piss.
