Everton Player Ratings V West Ham

Howard – 8 – Made the two good saves he had to, came out and caught any crosses and started the move for the second goal.

Coleman – 9 – On another day he could have had 2/3 assists. Great going forward and not troubled in defence against a tough opposition in Matt Jarvis.

Jagielka – 8 – Didn’t really have much to do but kept us strong and didn’t hoof it too often.

    Distin – 8 –  See Jagielka

Baines – 8 – Back to his usual self and could have had an assist. Not troubled in defence, Collison was there to stop him and failed.

Mirallas – 9 – He’ll have great days like that. When running at them they were terrified, great finish for the first and deserved a lucky second.

Gibson – 9 – Passing was brilliant. Started a lot of moves, got an assist and controlled the midfield.

Osman – 9 – Back to his best after a tough few months. Like Gibson he started a lot of moves and caused havoc with his drifting about.

Fellaini – 8 – Was greatly involved in the first goal and was good throughout.

Pienaar – 9 – While the final pass was missing at times, his dribbling and lively efforts were a real threat throughout.

Anichebe – 7 – Probably the only player I thought could have done better. Did well to hold it up but was on his heals too often and could have scored had he anticipated some more or scored that great opportunity he hit right at the keeper.
