Heitinga – 4 – Just dozy. A dozy person. Taking players out for no reason, giving them chances out of nothing.
Distin – 5 – Didn’t make a mistake defensively, but was a large part of our long ball today. Not putting the ball in the box was atrocious too.
Baines – 4 – We can’t spare him stick just because usually he’s our best player. Awful to give the ball away like that, and what timing, just as everyone’s going on about him not being in the PFA nominations.
Mirallas – 3 – Not in the game, at any point.
Gibson – 6 – Didn’t think he was doing too badly tbh, won it and moved it on. The only one to do that really.
Fellaini – 6 – Thought when he was in CM he was beasting them but Dowd was having him off. When moved he looked the only one arsed about attempting to go forward.
Pienaar – 3 – Was in the game more than Mirallas and you can’t fault him for lack of trying. But every pass was wrong today and his decision making is woeful. e.g. attempting those ridiculously clever balls or looking for Baines too often.
Osman – 2 – Osman is now old. Which means he doesn’t give us energy in midfield. He’s only useful when he keeps the ball ticking and controls the tempo. He did the complete opposite today.
Anichebe – 4 – Attempted to hold it up at times but didn’t get involved enough. Funnily enough his best spell was just before he was substituted.
Jelavic – 4 – Looked to get involved outside the box but seemed scared to attack it when inside the box. Really worrying.
Naismith – 5 – Actually hunted the ball, won things. But just not good enough.
Barkley – 5 – Ineffective, but really hard to change a game like that, with 8 other players playing like they were.
Excellent result! Toffees come unstuck!
I believe that Osman needs resting, when the going gets tough Osman getting going and does his best to stay away from the action, sell him while we can get £100,000 as he’ll be worth nothing soon, maybe osman and hibbert can join Neville and let them sign for some 1st or 2nddivision club

8 players were crap today far too many, such an important game too! Sunderland were no better just to make it worse!
