    Everton interested in Spurs midfielder

Everton are once again being linked to Spurs winger Nacer Chadli to help boost a squad decimated by injuries.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez may enter the transfer market after declaring his business was done the other day after last nights horror injury to Bryan Oviedo.

The Mirror state that Everton will look towards Chadli, while Everton fan Lewis Holtby may move to either Schalke or PSV Eindhoven.

Chadli has already taken to twitter to say how happy he is at Spurs and for the Tottenham fans to not believe everything they read in the papers, so the story is probably a non-starter, but Chadli’s agent did say that unless his player was started more that he would leave so that he didn’t jeopardise his World Cup place with Belgium.

Do you think this is normal Sunday paper stuff or do you think with all the links that there is something in it?  Have your say at www.theevertonforum.com

    1. Chadli is awful….he is a big man with a physical stature but has the bravery of an 8 year old girl with brittle bones!!
By far the worst signing of our summer spree and that also includes a £30m signing that can’t get a game and a £9m defensive midfielder who the manager wants to sell

    2. @MYB- What are you talking about? Lamela is injured and has shown flashes of brilliance while clearly not being settled at all. Chadli isn’t the greatest but for 7 million he certainly isn’t awful. And Capoue isn’t wanted because Sherwood doesn’t care for defensive midfielders and he rates bentaleb very highly and quite rightly, he’s been fantastic and is a whopping 6 years younger (obviously he’ll play Sandro because he’s in our top 3 players)Try being constructive or go support someone else with your negative attitude!
