    Everton check out transfer targets character to check fit

    Everton are doing some background homework on transfer target Xherdan Shaqiri to check if he is the right fit for their squad as they look to make a move for the Inter Milan playmaker.

    The Inter Milan player could be available for transfer despite coach Roberto Mancini saying he is part of his plans as the Italians look to restructure according to the Daily Mail.

    Shaqiri only moved to the Serie A club in January from German giants Bayern Munich and according to the report he could move on to help with finances following a disastrous campaign last season.

    Everton have been doing background checks with his former clubs as they look to assess his character before deciding on launching a move for the Swiss international.
