    Everton battling Fiorentina and Inter Milan for Italian star

    Everton target Luca Marrone is wanted by Fiorentina and Inter Milan.

    The Juventus midfielder, 23, is seen as a rising star and the Serie A giants will fight to keep him.

    Marrone, who can also play in central defence, started 13 matches for Juve last term and has been at the club since 1998.

    He has also been linked with Udinese and Parma, but it’s unlikely he would leave Turin for anything other than a major Italian club.

    A move to England could appeal, however, and Everton manager Roberto Martinez is a keen admirer

    But with plenty of interest, the bidding will have to start at around £10m according to Talksport

    Everton are thought to want the midfielder on loan for a year, but the impending sale of Fellaini could mean a permanent attempt.
