    Everton back in for top midfielder today

    Everton are set to return to Manchester United with an improved offer for Morgan Schneiderlin after seeing an initial offer of £19m get rejected according to the British press.

    The 27 year old midfielder has been strongly linked with a reunion with Everton manager Ronald Koeman, who he played for at Southampton and the press synopsis seems to be that Everton have strong interest.

    Schneiderlin is set to be Evertons second signing of the January window as they look set to sign Charlton forward Ademola Lookman today in a deal that could be worth £11m.

    Schneiderlin has been a peripheral figure at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho and now the France international is looking for a fresh start.
