    Evans now more appealing at £5m for Everton

    Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is now looking at more attractive signing at £5m, which may tempt Everton to make a move for the player says the Daily Star.

    The 27 year old Northern Ireland international  only has one year left on his current contract and is on the radar of Spurs, Aston Villa and Sunderland.

    According to the report, Evans would prefer to stay in the north as his wife Helen is due to return to work for MUTV after having a baby.

    Evans twice went on loan to Sunderland, the first time winning the clubs Youth Player of the year award, he has played only 14 times in the league this season.
