Arsenal could offer Aaron Ramsey as part of Fellaini deal

Arsenal could offer Everton Aaron Ramsey as part of their bid for Marouane Fellaini according to SportsDirectNews

The Gunners are keen to complete a deal for the big-haired Belgian, but have so far refused to match the star’s £24 million release clause.

And, as a result, boss Arsene Wenger is ready to throw Ramsey into any potential deal.

The Welshman was once hailed as a star of the future.

But he has struggled to live up to his early billing, and could yet be used to make up the numbers in the Gunners’ bid for Fellaini.

Wenger values Ramsey at £7m, and would be prepared to offer the star to the Toffees, alongside a cash payment of £17m.

However, boss Roberto Martinez is keen to keep hold of his prized asset, and may yet tell the Gunners to stump up the full £24m.

    1. TBH, I cant believe you are even linking to this non-story? It is baseless rubbish. Ransey was outstanding in the centre of Arsenal’s midfield last season. He and Toffee old boy Arteta formed a great partnership once Ramsey was finally given a central midfield berth.

And rated at £7m by Wenger???? Pfffft. Nonsense. Utter garbage. Do yourselves a favour an consign this one in the BS transfer file.

    2. Utterly ridiculous. Ramsey’s form in the last few games of the season basically got us into the CL spot! And Arsenal has stood by him for several years now since his injury, why would they get rid of him now that he’s finally starting to show his ability? ould be an insane swap deal because the way things were looking once Ramsey had found his position int he side, there might not a great deal between him and Fellaini as players overall (obviously Fellaini’s a more potent attacker but Ramsey was dominating the midfield area almost single-handedly) and if I were Martinez I’d bite our hands off at this sort of offer.

    3. I’d be astonished if this was true: I know that Ramsay had been a bit ordinary for some time, but his form in AFC’s strong end-of-season run to 4th place was superb. His box-to-box running and commitment were exemplary and it would seem to be ludicrous for Wenger to give up on the guy just when he’s set to come good. Bloody good deal for Everton if they can pull it off, though.

    4. Ramsey was one of Arsenal’s best performers last season, why would they let him go to one of their rivals, especially when he’s just signed a long term deal with them and forms part of their British Core?
