An Useful insight into Cardiff City from a Cardiff Fan

Against Man City on Sunday, we were very organised and disciplined. Against you I don’t expect us to be as defensive, but still, I’m sure Malky has taken note of Miralas, Deulofeu (who I think will be a future star) and obviously the young lad who’s caught everyone’s eye Ross Barkley.

I expect you to have large amounts of possesion, seen as that’s the way Martinez plays his football, but I feel you will find it hard to penetrate us with Caulker and Turner as our CB’s, and Gary Medel (who looks worth every penny to me) sitting infront of the back four, breaking up play and hitting wonderful passes. Now on to our attacking, Fraizer Campbell will lead the line as Andreas Cornelius is injured, but I’m sure you all saw Fraizer’s goals on Sunday. He was outstanding and was feeding on scraps for large parts of the game, he’s a constant threat. Kim-Bo Kyung plays the number 10 role for us, roaming around behind Fraizer. If you give this kid time on the ball, you won’t like what you’ll see. Dortmund were eyeing him up as a replacement for Shinji Kagawa, but we got him before they made a bid. He’s probably the best player I’ve ever seen us have in terms of technical ability. We are a big threat from set pieces, and that’s thanks to Peter Whittingham’s delivery. It’s first class. Craig Bellamy may no longer have the pace he used to, but he’s still faster and more skillful than a lot of our players.

I expect us to play the 4-2-3-1 formation, lining up like this:-

When you attack, Whittingham and Bellamy will drop back and we will go into two banks of four.

Anyway, hope you find this information all useful.

    My prediction:- 2-1 Cardiff.
