Stanek: I feel like I have improved at Everton
January signing Jindrich Stanek believes that he is improving as a player at Everton and feels that his step up to training with the first team will benefit him even more.
Under the tutelage of goalkeeping coach Inaki Bergara, Jindrich feels he is stronger and more powerful and believes that the better standard of football will help him in the long run. He aims to get established in the Everton under 21 team this season.
“It’s been a great time for me since January because football here is a higher level than at home,” the Czech Under-19 international told evertonfc.com. “The attitude for football and development of players here is better.
“Getting the chance to train with the first team and Inaki Bergara and the other goalkeeper coaches is unbelievable. I’m getting new experiences every day here. I feel like I have improved; I’m stronger, more powerful.
“Also, living alone in a foreign city has been good life experience for me and I have met a lot of new people.
“I’ve had my time to settle and now I want to force my way into the Under-21s’ side if possible and generally just keep improving every day.”
