Lukaku: Out of courtesy, I will listen to what Moshiri has to say

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has once again opened his mouth about leaving the club but has said as a matter of courtesy he will listen to the plans that new investor Farhad Moshiri has to say before deciding on his future.

Lukaku has annoyed Evertonians across the land with his crass statements in the press and looks to be engineering a way out of the club, at the same time talking up a move back to Chelsea.

He said: “I’m at a point where I have to make a good career choice. We have a new investor at Everton, and out of courtesy I will listen to what he has to say.

“But I have my own ideas in mind. I want to win titles.

“I have had a very good season, but it is time for me to write myself a CV. That is why I play football.

“I get that trophy-winning mindset from Chelsea.

“People in Belgium don’t see me playing for Everton, but I am respected in England by fans, managers and experts like Jamie Carragher, Graeme Souness and Thierry Henry.”

Should the club fine Lukaku for his comments in the press?

    1. I’m not concerned in the slightest. Let him go and get the most money we can for him. Our focus should be solely on getting the new stadium built.

    2. Out of “Courtesy” he should keep his mouth shut and send his old man to an old peoples home. Lukaku acts like he holds all the cards, I honesty cannot wait for him to leave, I will pick his bags for him! Give it 1-2 years and he will be crying for game time again, then want to be a title winner as his ego is unreal (Repeat). Would love to win something without him, great player, shite attitude, not good enough for our club.

    3. So decent of him, so “out of courtesy” we should sell him, but for nothing less than £65m and then wish him well living up his own ar*e
