    Ben Arfa transfer?

    Ben Arfa transfer?

Firstly, my fellow Bluenoses I must report, based on reports of reports that the rumor mill has been rife once again.
Even respected news blogs seem to have become a kind of Chinese whisper seeking out any story or whim that even weakly, indicates any transfer attention or approach by our beloved club. Does this wind me up, do I not like orange?
Everton FC are seldom embarrassed and usually extremely closed-lipped about incoming players and as we have been assured by Bobby this is purely out of respect for other clubs. I for one respect his respect to show respect even when the prospect of incumbent talent like Barry, Besic, Lukaku, Henen, Atsu and Ben Arfa are either truth or fiction. However, I will state here and now that any interest in possible talent is mouthwatering usually and although this sounds very wrong indeed, I merely mean how much better our team can become, ahem.
It has to be said that if this final pre-season rumour of of Ben Arfa joining Everton is to be believed then I, for one am very excited at the prospect. The lad is only 27, he has a deadly left foot, he is almost the vision of things to come of our very own Prince Ross. Providing he is willing to be moulded into our new style of play and respects the club as his compatriot Distin clearly has over the years, we, my friends may be on the verge of superiority in the league. Certainly, we would finally have a left attack and a right attack to unfurl and frighten any team.
Personally, I yearn for players like Henen and Hope to be given first team experience this year, albeit prematurely because they are sure to have some of the best players in the league to back them up.
Hatem Ben Arfa, should you decide that your future awaits with Everton then you better know it’s history.
We are not a scapegoat for the undecided, we are undoubtedly a far better team that you are currently contracted to and we ‘will’ be a lesson for anyone aspiring to be in the top four.
I will leave the rest of the talking to Bobby if thats in his bag. Who knows, it could all be speculation.
    Everton FC!

    1. He’s lazy, an upsetter and flatters to deceive. A show pony like McGeady. Disagree with your opinion entirely. We can add better to the squad.

    2. I have been following the Hatem Ben Arfa thing for a while now. Newcastle FC are crazy to not want to play the guy, he can tear teams apart easily. i for one hope we do buy him or get him on loan, the rumour started last week, but I have not heard anything since.

We need a bigger squad as we are playing in Europe, I even think we can get him for a snip as Newcaslt are a selling club….Please please please Martinez buy him!

    3. I dont no how u think Everton is a better club than Newcastle u will always be in Liverpool’s shadow and always will I’m a Geordie through and through but always had a soft spot for Liverpool and didn’t no Everton excisted until I was 14 so u are as bad as the low life that put are 2 great supporters down after losing there lives in a horrible way but that’s explains u lot to a T deluded

    4. I have a theory that talent can be honed from the most unhappy and disinterested players as long as that winning mentality is still coursing through. When a talented player becomes disillusioned it is often due to a manager with a bigger eyes than his belly. Spend, spend, spend is a sickening way to create a team. At Everton, we do not have the purse strings to command that ethos, but in my opinion thats all very well. We certainly now have a creative manager in Bobby who inspires with his optimism, style and charm. He is clearly no fool and I firmly believe that should Ben Arfa be on his books he will contract him providing the desire to adapt shows through. I do not conform to that mentality where fans openly disrespect other teams or it’s fans during times of tragedy. We had the immensely emotive remembrance on Merseyside not long ago where Reds and Blues congregated together for a common cause and in a shared sympathy of a massive tragedy. Football is not for most of us, life and death, it is a kinship and a hope and the two should never, ever be confused. But I will always maintain that Everton are a better team than Newcastle. And if you know your history…well obviously some of you don’t. Not prior to 1992 anyway.
Whats the deal with visiting other clubs fan sites to tackle fan views? Is the Newcastle site not good enough possibly? Ahem.
