Barcelona Wants a Piece of Everton’s Bright Prospect, Henry Onyekuru

We all know that change is the only constant thing in the world. And Everton well knows that fact. That’s why it continuously searches for football prospects that are expected to one day become the face of the football game.

One of those prospects is Henry Onyekuru. However, it’s not just Everton who’s on the lookout for the young lad. Together with the Blues, Barcelona, Ajax Amsterdam, Manchester United, and Fiorentina are also interested in getting Onyekuru to play for them.

The clubs’ interest skyrocketed even further after the 20-year-old scored a surprising goal for Anderlecht. This added to the hype surrounding the immense hype he’s getting from the top tier football clubs in Europe.

As of now, Onyekuru contributed seven strong goals to Anderlecht, proving himself to be a very valuable player for the clubs’ Champions League campaign. Because of this, he has accumulated enough experience to make him as one of the football world’s brightest rising stars.

Aside from that, his 315 minutes of playing time in the League enabled him to get a 76.7% passing success rate. This statistic is by far, higher than most rookies. Onyekuru is not just excelling in Everton, but in his home country of Nigeria as well.

The 20-year-old forward had his international debut with the Nigerian Super Eagles last June. This means that he needs to work double time to earn his place in representing Nigeria in the upcoming 2018 World Cup.

Analysts predict that if his current performance continues and he improves, then there’s no doubt he’ll attract more European clubs. But this would also mean that his entry into Everton’s first team might be postponed. If this is the case, then it’s safe to expect that if ever he makes it to the first team, it would still happen next year.

As of now, Onyekuru has proven himself to be a rising star even though he hasn’t yet proven a lot. But when considering him being just twenty years old, one can assume that there’s still a lot that can happen.

One of which is his possible transfer to another team, such as Barcelona. And in knowing that Barcelona is on top of the Spanish La Liga with their strong 3/10 betting odds, it isn’t that hard to foresee the Nigerian as switching teams.

But it might also be that Real Madrid would publicize their interest in the young man sooner or later. If this is the case, then it’ll also be an attractive offer for him as they have strong 5/2 odds.  Even joining Atletico Madrid is a good-enough-deal for Onyekuru as they have 20/1 odds.

However, looking at Barcelona’s standing in the Champions League isn’t very promising as they only have a 7/1 betting odds. Meanwhile, Ajax is in a good position in the Dutch Eredivisie as they have strong 2/1 odds, placing second next to PSV Eindhoven’s 4/11 odds.

But if he decides to stay with Everton, and if for some reason he breaks out of his shell soon, then it’d be safe to bet on Everton with a free bet no deposit offer from Freebets.co.uk from various sports bookmakers and try to cash in.

The problem is that Everton is a big underdog in the Premier League as it only has 2500/1 betting odds, together with Newcastle United and Stoke City. Now, it’s up to Henry Onyekuru as to what path he’ll take.

Will he take the shortcut and let Barcelona’s scouts settle a deal with him, or is he going to continue his career in Anderlecht? Or perhaps settle for Everton and help the team improve? Whichever the case is, let’s just hope that he’ll make the right decision.

    1. What the hell is this half arsed broken english report all about. Onyekuru is an Everton player contracted for another 4 and half years out on loan. It would take a big offer for us to even contemplate selling him regardless who it is!
