Koeman wants more signings to make “a really strong team”

Everton manager Ronald Koeman stresses that he wants his side to make an impression in every competition they are competing in this season and believes he is close to having the squad to be able to do it.

Despite being one of the most active teams in the Premier League this season, the Dutchman still wants to do more business starting with the capture of Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

“We like to compete in every tournament and, of course, also in Europe because it is always nice to be part of Europe,” Koeman said.

“And if we can do all the business we like to do before the end of August then I expect to have – and manage – a really strong team but it not far enough to make those sorts of conclusions.”

Who would you like Everton to sign in the remaining transfer window?
