Winger bid rejected as Everton close in on Koemans top target

Everton have had an £18m bid for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie according to the Guardian as Ronald Koeman makes a move for one of his top transfer targets.

The 27 year old DR Congo international is one of Palaces main players and it is understood that Everton will return with a bid of more than £20m for the player signed from Bristol City.

Koeman is known to be a massive admirer of Bolasie and it was rumoured earlier in the summer that he would be his top target as he looks to add the wingers pace, power and trickery to the blues frontline.

Everton have so far enjoyed a disappointing transfer window, with only Maarten Stekelenburg and Idrissa Gueye signed despite rumours of large amounts of cash being readied to be invested.

Would Bolasie be a good signing for Everton?
