Garbutt: My form has been good and I want to kick on

Everton left back Luke Garbutt is delighted to get an extended run in the team following injuries to Leighton Baines and Bryan Oviedo, but says his form is good and he wants to keep his place.

The youngster has impressed on the left and his whipped set pieces have added an edge to the Everton attack and Garbutt wants to add to his link up play now.

“I think my form has been good. I’ve performed at the level needed and hopefully I can kick on now and get a few more games under my belt,” he told the club’s official website.

“Playing out there is a dream come true so I’ve just got to keep going really.

“The link-up play with Naisy and Rom was good [against Dynamo Kyiv] and we’ve got to take that into Sunday’s game now.

“We’ve got to be on the front foot from the off and hopefully get a positive result.”
